What is the difference between an HSA and an FSA?

Short answer

An HSA requires a high-deductible plan, rolls over and stays yours if you leave. An FSA works with most plans but is mostly use-it-or-lose-it each year.

Rules differ by state. This is general information, not legal or professional advice.
